Cesar Ritz Colleges offer students hospitality studies with a main focus on entrepreneurship. The school encourages sustainable living (including on site beehives!) and a focus on equitable commerce, giving students key skill sets for their future business plans and career prospects.
The program is designed for students seeking a career in international hospitality, tourism, and any other industry, where close attention to customer, client, guest and stakeholder experience is a key formula to success.
Cost: program fee paid directly to host institution + in-country costs
Requirements: 3.0 GPA, undergraduate standing
The program fee includes full board (accommodation in a standard double room and meals), all tuition and study materials, health insurance, selection of excursions, and 15 credits per semester plus optional language. The 11-week semester program is CHF 18,000. The two 11-week semesters followed by a 4-6 month internship is CHF 36,000.

The two locations offer a large selection of shops, cinemas, museums, theatres, restaurants, and outdoor sporting activities for studnts to enjoy. Additionally, the program organizes excursions for students that are included in the program fee.
Per university policy, all UofSC students will be charged emergency medical, evacuation and repatriation insurance for their time abroad. Contact the Study Abroad Office for more details.
All student accommodation is designed to offer students the comfort and privacy needed for study or to simply relax. Bedrooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. The double standard room is included in program fees. At an additional charge, students can upgrade to a double, single, or single superior deluxe room. Linens are provided. Student accommodations are equipped with laundry and the housekeeping department cleans rooms weekly. Additionally, full board is provided throughout the week and is included in the fees. Three meals are served from Monday to Friday with brunch and dinner on weekends.
Each semester is 11 weeks. There are 4 possible starting dates: January, April, July or October.
Pre-arrival information and orientation will be provided to students either on campus or virtually.
If a student is interested in attending for only one semester, a visa is not required as students are permitted to engage in study programs according to Swiss law as a "tourist" in the country. If a student is intereested in attending for two semesters, they will need a visa and should apply at least 3 months in advance.
