- Professor John Grady’s latest book, Law in Sport Concepts and Cases (5th edition) was published by FiT Publishing.
- Ph.D. student Ali Iskender, Ercan Sirakaya Turk, David Cardenas and Neşet Hikmet of the College of Engineering and Computing published "Restaurant patrons’ intentions toward QR code menus in the U.S. during COVID-19: acceptance of technology adoption model" in the Journal of Foodservice Business Research.
- Associate Professor and Ph.D. Program Director Khalid Ballouli was recognized as a 2023 research fellow by the Sport Marketing Association and presided over this year's SMA national conference as the organization's president.
- Professor John Grady, Professor and Director of Graduate Programs Stephen Shapiro, Assistant Professor Yongjin Hwang, Ph.D. students Saad Alshamari, Ryan Dastrup, Deukkyung Ock, Michael Seidman and Tsu-Lin Yeh and master's student Colleen Dibble presented research at the Sport Marketing Association’s annual conference.
