Student Notes

  • Hospitality Management students Caroline Aase, Anna Haverland, Meghan Penske and Audrey Taylor served as student ambassadors at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) in Los Angeles.
  • Caroline Aase (Hospitality Management) earned a scholarship for academic excellence from the Statler Foundation.
  • Pedro Gomes Amaral (Sport and Entertainment Management) accepted a new role as fan development ticket manager with Soda City FC.
  • Emily Barbare (Retailing) accepted a position with Macy's in their Executive Development program.
  • Max Bass (Sport and Entertainment Management) accepted an offer from Circa Resort & Casino as a management trainee in the Leaders of Future Management program.
  • Kaitlyn Boyle (Sport and Entertainment Management) started a new position as event staff at Colonial Life Arena.
  • Thompson Byrd, Matthew Swain, Tyler Aiken and Brayes Johnson (Sport and Entertainment Management) were chosen as this spring's interns for the Lexington County Blowfish.

  • Lynn Davis (Hospitality Management) accepted a position as an MIT banquet manager at the Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University. She will begin her role after graduation in May.
  • Olivia Donofrio (Sport and Entertainment Management) accepted a summer internship with NBCUniversal as part of their 2024 Paris Olympics Program.
  • Anthony Enriquez (Hospitality Management) accepted an internship with Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, PA.
  • Mahaley Gann (Sport and Entertainment Management) accepted a championships internship with the PGA of America for summer 2024.
