- Sport and Entertainment Management Ph.D. student Grace Kazmierski-Davie and Associate Professor and Ph.D. Program Director Khalid Ballouli authored "Identity Dynamics in Collegiate Olympic Athletes Post-Tokyo 2020: A Pre-Post Study," published in the Journal of Intercollegiate Sport.
- Scott Taylor Jr. co-authored "Hold my beer! Consumer perceptions of innovative and sustainable secondary packaging," published in the International Journal of Wine Business Research.
- HRSM advisors presented "Maximizing Advising Efficiency Using DegreeWorks Plans" at the 2024 USC-System Advisors' Educational Conference. The session explored practical strategies for advisors to collaboratively construct tailored plans with students, fostering a sense of ownership and engagement in their educational journey.

- More than 30 Sport and Entertainment Management students worked The National Wild Turkey Federation's 48th Annual Convention and Sport Show in Nashville. The event drew a record crowd of more than 72,000 people.
- Mary Caines (Hospitality Management) accepted a traveling operations internship with the American Junior Golf Association after attending the AJGA’s intern recruiting weekend. She was one of 100 attendees selected out of more than 1,400 applicants.
