Background
Stephanie Richards is the administrative coordinator for the Office of Student Services. A native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., she began her career in higher education with the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management in 2012. Prior to her professional role with the college, she was a graduate and teaching assistant for the Assistant Dean of Student Services from 2010-2011.
As the administrative coordinator, Richards works primarily with undergraduate students assisting them with a wide array of academic services and resources. Richards also teaches University 101. In 2019, she was honored to be a recipient of the HRSM Staff Member of the Year Award.
Aside from her work at the University of South Carolina, Richards enjoys traveling, volunteering and being a coach’s wife.
