Background
Stephanie Richards is the manager of planning and technology for the Office of Student Services. A native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., she began her career in higher education with the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management in 2012. Prior to her professional role with the college, she was a graduate and teaching assistant for the Assistant Dean of Student Services from 2010-2011.
In her role, Richards' duties include oversight of daily operations, management of the advising calendar, campaigns and student services technologies as well as international student advisement and services. Richards also teaches University 101. In 2019, she was honored to be a recipient of the HRSM Staff Member of the Year Award.
Aside from her work at the University of South Carolina, Richards enjoys traveling, volunteering and being a coach’s wife.
