The University of South Carolina’s Department of Retailing is offering retailing majors a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the fashion industry at its peak — New York Fashion Week (NYFW).

Thanks to a partnership between the Department of Retailing, USC’s Office of Trademark Licensing, and CLC/Learfield’s U of NYFW program, two scholarships will be awarded to attend the event. The scholarship covers travel, hotel accommodations, and admission to select NYFW experiences.

Through this exclusive program, students will connect with peers from across the country and gain behind-the-scenes access to fashion shows, networking events, and career development sessions designed to inspire the next generation of industry leaders.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

All retailing majors are encouraged to apply, but preference will be given to:

  • Students with a concentration in Fashion Merchandising and Digital Innovations
  • Students with a strong academic record (GPA)
  • Students with a demonstrated commitment to leadership and service

Recipients will be selected by the Department of Retailing’s leadership team.
