USC Youth Choir

The USC Youth Choir returns! Tailored for students aged 9-14 with unchanged voices from across the SC Midlands, this choir goes beyond school and church settings to encourage students to continue to explore the art of choral music.

Leadership for the USC Youth Choir will feature Augusto Gil, a third-year DMA candidate in Choral Conducting at the University of South Carolina, and Nathan Vondergeest, a recent graduate from USC's Piano Performance graduate program. Mr. Gil has extensive experience working with students of all ages and is known for his engaging approach, which blends musical excellence with humor and community spirit.

Participants will build lasting friendships and musical skills through a diverse repertoire chosen for their age group. Regular public performances throughout the year provide opportunities to showcase their talent and hard work to the community.

Join us in celebrating music, camaraderie, and personal growth at the USC Youth Choir.
