The Carolina Band Drumline is an elite and integral musical component of the Carolina Band that exemplifies the musicianship, spirit, and intensity of the Carolina Band.
The Carolina Band Drumline includes USC students of all backgrounds and majors who desire to perform at the absolute highest level. The Carolina Band Drumline rehearses daily throughout the fall season in both sectional and full band settings, and performs both with the Carolina Band and as a solo entity.
Members are selected through a highly competitive audition process in the spring before each football season. Members participate in all rehearsals and performances and receive a scholarship for their participation in the Carolina Band.

Performance on any and all chosen secondary instruments is encouraged during the group audition process.
