The University Band, under the direction of Tonya Mitchell, is a diverse ensemble consisting of musicians from across campus, regardless of their degree program.
In the Fall, the group rehearses on Monday nights from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and performs one concert in the Koger Center for the Arts.
In the Spring, there are two sections of the band, each rehearsing from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. at the School of Music. Both sections perform two concerts during the Spring semester.
