Opera Camp

Carolina Opera Experience

Kids learn the art of props, make-up, costumes, scenery and musical preparation in this week-long experience for 5th through 10th graders.

SAVVY Arts Venture Challenge (SAVVY) is a revolutionary professional development workshop hosted by the University of South Carolina. This immersive, weeklong “innovation GAME” challenges a diverse mosaic of 75 arts participants (spanning ages, races, religions, geographies, and disciplines) to solve a problem related to the arts and compete for awards.

Social Emotional Learning in Music

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is a framework intended to help students gain skills to negotiate and process social and emotional demands. Through this course, music educators will be introduced to the construct of SEL and learn techniques to embed SEL instruction into all levels and areas of music education and rehearsal.
