Grammy Award-winning Parker Quartet returns to Columbia in April

Concerts are April 6 and 9 and tickets are on sale now

The University of South Carolina School of Music welcomes back the Grammy Award-winning Parker Quartet for their spring residency. The Quartet-in-Residency program, begun in 2013, provides world-class instruction to our students and extraordinary concerts for our community of music enthusiasts.

The spring residency offers a phenomenal opportunity for high school students during the Chamber Music Day and String Quartet Competition. The Quartet mentors pre-formed string quartets through intensive coachings and master classes throughout the day, leading to a performance and competition in the evening. Coaches are members of the Parker Quartet and the USC School of Music string faculty. Please join us for the competition to hear these talented young artists.

The April concerts promise to be as thrilling as ever, and the Sunday concert is free to encourage families to attend. We look forward to seeing you there.
