Due to health concerns raised by the spread of COVID-19, the UofSC School of Music has cancelled all public events and performances through the end of the spring semester.

The university will hold two livestreamed town hall events with President Caslen and senior leadership next week: one at 6 p.m. EDT on Monday, March 30, for students and families, and another at 6 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, March 31, for faculty and staff.
May commencement ceremonies have been tentatively rescheduled for August 7 and 8, 2020.
Students with belongings in residence halls will have the opportunity to retrieve them at a later date when it is determined by state health officials that it is safe to do so. See University Housing for more details.
The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education (CHE) is developing a coordinated policy on refunds (parking, housing, meals) for all state colleges and universities. Virtual instruction for will begin on March 23 and will last through the conclusion of final exams. Traditional May commencement ceremonies are postponed.
