Rajat Das Gupta

Biographical info:

I was born Chattogram, which is a Bangladeshi city situated on the coast of Bay of Bengal. However, I was raised in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. I studied medicine as an undergraduate at the University of Dhaka and earned a Master of Public Health from BRAC University, Bangladesh. I had chosen PhD in Epidemiology program at the University of South Carolina because my research interest aligns with that of my Academic Advisor (Dr. Anthony J Alberg). My like travelling, cooking, watching movies and documentaries during my leisure time. 

 Research interests:

My research interest is cancer epidemiology, cardiovascular disease epidemiology, and nutritional epidemiology.
