I am from Anhui, China and I completed my medical degree in Anhui Medical University with a major in Clinical Medicine. Before I came to the U.S., I was a general physician in China. I chose the MSPH program in Biostatistics at USC because the program fits me well. It not only provides fundamental theoretical curriculums of statistics, but also offers the application courses in public health area. The faculties in our department are nice and willing to help students. Workout is one of my favorite hobbies, and I also like some outdoor activities, such as jogging, hiking and rowing.
My research interest is statistical data analysis of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
My thesis is about network based statistical analysis of fMRI data from patients with symptoms of aphasia.
