Student  Award  About

Jamie Jones

Outstanding Master of Science-Residential: Jamie Plummer Jones "Jamie is thoughtful, collaborative, mature for her years, and a very good writer who has fostered community relations for the department with the Brookland Senior Center and the Public Library. She has been listed as first author and second author on two publications generated by the Aging Gracefully Lab. As a first-generation college student, she has overcome hurdles to successfully complete our master's program."  -Faculty Nominator

Megan Morgan

Outstanding Master of Science-Distance Education: Megan Morgan "Megan's academic performance was consistently excellent, and she worked well both independently and as a member in groups. She was faced with some extenuating circumstances, but she never permitted those to interfere with timely submissions of high-quality work. Though a DE student, she arranged to visit campus to complete in-house practicum to gain some specialized experiences." -Faculty Nominator

Teresa Traffas

Outstanding Master of Science-Distance Education: Teresa Traffas "Teresa has consistently performed at the top of her class in the coursework she has taken with me.  She is always well-prepared and professional, and is able to apply what she has learned in the classroom to clinical discussions and projects with impressive ability.  I am proud that Teresa will represent USC as an alumna and know that she will serve the profession well." -Faculty Nominator
